“Naturals” is the term given to these overripe coffee cherries.
This year Kimo took part of his dried Naturals, adjusted the drying cycle, remoistened them, then redried them and then aged them for 6 months. This let more of the fruity chocolaty Mokka character adhere to the coffee beans. Sweet and super fruity, dark Plum and mango tastes contribute to the complexity.
We call this experimental process Super Naturals. For a limited time all Mokka that we offer in the store and on the webstore will be these Super Natural Mokkas. We have a limited amount so enjoy them while you can. We don’t know if Kimo will do it again next year.
